My role was to provide design and photography for our Marketing Department, coordinate with department heads to plan weekly sales, develop marketing campaigns, and maintain our social media presence.

Although the Co-op is open to everyone, folks have the opportunity to become owners and take part in discounts, Board Elections, and discussions that determine the direction of the store’s operations.

With the launch of our “Eat Local Month” campaign, Chico Natural Foods wanted to revamp the monthly newsletter. This provided space for more in depth articles on product spotlights, farmer visits, and local events.

Being a natural foods cooperative, price perception can be a barrier to some shoppers.

Keeping this in mind, I wanted to create a series of posters that highlighted our Co-op Basics Program that shouted savings and affordability without the sacrifice of quality.
